The RFGP tradition started on a cold, cloudy Thanksgiving Weekend in 1995 along the Arkansas River on the North side of Fort Smith, AR with about 90 riders and has continued for nearly three decades through sleet, snow, rain and floods becoming and annual tradition for hundreds of families from multiple states. We want every RFGP rider and their family to feel like part of our family and enjoy a laid-back weekend of old-fashioned racing and family fun whether it's sunny and 65 with perfect dirt or cold, wet, muddy, raining or even snowing!
In 2023, after 28 years at the same location in Fort Smith, the RFGP had to find a new home and we found an even better location than the original! RFGP 29 will be the first at a great new location on the east side of Oklahoma City along the Oklahoma River but will still be the same laid-back, fun race you love!
